01. A summer’s game night.

Danae is woken up when Violeta calls her to go to the local Manchester bar nearby. She
says yes and gets to the bar. Outside of the bar she meets with Ruben, an older friend
of theirs who was smoking outside. They catch up as they go down the stairs. They
meet with the rest and have some drinks. Soon, they noticed the owner had hung a
darts target on the wall. They’ve been begging for it forever now however Danae didn’t
know how to play so she goes upstairs to the owner to ask for the darts and asks him
why he hung it. He just shrugs her off and gives her the darts. Long story short, when
it’s her turn, she wins a bullseye. Then they start talking about universities because
Ruben is already in university and the rest were starting the following month. Danae’s
dream university was Somnus, a university in the North of Europe because it was the
best and most mysterious. Danae applied for it but none of her friends did.

02. Discount Time

They get kicked out of the bar by the owner since it was late. Danae gets an email
which she doesn’t get to read since Ruben is behind her. She wants to read it on the
way home, she doesn’t since Ruben walks her home. They get to a bridge where Ruben
reminds her of when she confessed to him two years ago. He leaves and she walks
home sad. She gets to the front door and reminds herself why she wanted to go home.
She hurries to read the email on her slow computer. She got accepted. She calls her
parents since they’re on holiday and she’s over the moon.
