D. OBJECTIVE/S Judge the relevance and worth of ideas, soundness of author’s reasoning,
and the effectiveness of presentation (EN9RC-IVf.2.22)
At the end of the period, the students would be able to:
a. identify the author’s purpose; and
b.determine the relevance and worth of ideas
E. ACTIVITY A. TRAILER ANALYSIS
The class will be divided into four (4) groups.
The Teacher will present two (2) trailers for movies and TV shows.
F. ANALYSIS After watching the trailers the groups will complete the analysis matrix.
DIRECTIONS: Read the questions posed within the matrix and write only
short statements in the provided manila paper.

QUESTION 1 Briefly explain what the two movie trailers were about.
Did the central themes of both movies convey the

Examine any explicit or implicit arguments presented in

The groups will pick a representative to present their group’s output.
The teacher will exempt the first two groups who have posted their
outputs first from the reporting.
The groups not able to report are encouraged to pose questions to the
reporters for extra points.
