Rohan is applying it in the right direction and Shivam applied force towards the left.
What will be the resultant force?

c) Will the state of the object change when force is applied in both the conditions?

8. (i)Two women are of the same weight. One wears sandals with pointed heels while
the other wears flat shoes. Which one would feel more comfortable on a sandy beach.
Give reason for your answer.

(ii) A brick is 20cm long and 10cm wide. It weighs 24 N and is lying on the ground. Find
the pressure exerted by the brick on the ground.
