PM-PRANAM Scheme

PM-PRANAM stands for PM Programme for Restoration,


Awareness, Nourishment and Amelioration of Mother
Earth.

PM-PRANAM was first announced in the 2023-24 Budget by


the Union government.

The scheme aims to reduce the use of chemical fertilizers by


incentivizing states to adopt alternative fertilizers.

Narendra Modi will launch 'PM-PVTG
Development Mission' in Khunti district on
'Tribal Pride Day' (Birth anniversary of Lord
Birsa Munda) on November 15 2023.

Particularly Vulnerable Tribal Groups (PVTGs)


are the most vulnerable among the tribal
groups. Total – 75 PVTG ( Max. – Odisha)

The Rs 24,000-crore project is aimed at the


development of the PVTGs.
Mahila Samman Savings Certificate Scheme

It is a new small savings scheme


launched by the Ministry of Finance to
encourage women investors.

The investment amount ranges


from Rs. 1,000 to Rs. 2 lakhs in the
name of an individual girl or woman.

Maturity period is 2 years

Lakhpati Didi Initiative
To encourage women to start micro-enterprises within Ministry of Rural Development
their villages.

Under the Lakhpati Didi Initiative, the government aims to


train two crore women.

Plumbing, LED bulb making, drone operation and repair,


and tailoring and weaving.

The programme is aimed at training women in self-help


groups (SHGs) so that they can earn a sustainable income
of at least Rs 1 lakh per annum per household.

wastage substantially, increase productivity, improve
quality, work safely, expand their markets, and finally
become competitive and profitable.

Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Ann Yojana
The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public
Distribution

Government has eliminated subsidized prices and


is giving food grains for free for a year.

Rs 3 per kg rice, Rs 2 per kg wheat, and Rs 1 per kg


coarse grains in order to acquire the amount to
which they were entitled - 35 kilograms each
Antyoday Anna Yojana Household and 5kg per
person in a Priority Household per month.
