13.MASTIC ASPHALT WEARING COAT OF THICKNESS 25 OVER
40 MM BC SHALL BE PROVIDED AS PER MORT&H STANDARD
IN WEARING COAT.
14. HIGH CONTAINMENT CRASH BARRIER OF 1.550M HEIGHT
WITHIN RAILWAY BOUNDARY AND APPROACHES BEYOND
RAILWAY BOUNDARY SHALL BE PROVIDED AS PER
IRC 6-2014 GUIDE LINES.
15. LOADING ONE LANE OF CLASS 'A' FOR EACH LANE OR ONE
LANE OF CLASS 70R FOR EVERY TWO LANE WITH ONE LANE
OF CLASS 'A' FOR THE REMAINING LANES, OR HEAVY
LOADING OF 385 MT WHEEL AS PER MODIFIED IRC 6:2014
WHICH EVER PRODUCE MAXIMUM EFFECT SHALL BE
CONSIDERED.
16.ALL SAFETY MEASURES INCLUDING SUITABLE SPEED

21. PROTECTIVE COATINGS FOR REINFORCEMENT AGAINST
CORROSION SHOULD BE PROVIDED AS PER CLAUSE
NO.7.1.5 OF CORRECTION SLIP NO 8 AT IRS CONCRETE
BRIDGE CODE EDITION. AS MAY BE REQUIRED.
22. PROVISION OF CLAMPS IN THE SUPERSTRUCTURE FOR
SUPPORTING THE TRACTION WIRE TO BE MADE IN
COMMUNICATION WITH CONCERNED AUTHORITY.
23. WEARING COAT WITH UNIFORM THICKNESS, AND MISC.
ITEMS SUCH AS DRAINAGE SPOUTS WITH GRATING
ARRANGEMENTS ETC. SHALL BE SIMILAR TO MOST
DRAWING NO.SD/205. LOCATION OF DRAINAGE SPOUTS
SHALL INVARIABLY BE SHOWN IN DETAILED DRAWINGS.
24. EXPANSION JOINTS, & CONFINED POT/PTEF BEARINGS
SHALL BE PROCURED ONLY FROM PRE-QUALIFIED
MANUFACTURERS OF MORTH . WARRANTY AND
A MAINTENANCE GUIDELINES/ CIRCULARS ISSUED FROM
TIME TO TIME.
25. A COMMON BENCH MARK SHOULD BE ESTABLISHED BY
RAILWAYS AND ROAD AUTHORITY ENGINEERS BEFORE
STARTING THE WORK.
26. LOAD TEST HAS TO BE CARRIED OUT IMMEDIATELY AFTER
COMPLETION OF THE SUPERSTRUCTURE CONSIDERING
THE PROVISIONS OF IRC SP 51-1999 - GUIDE LINES FOR
LOAD TESTING OF BRIDGES.
27. ALL THE RECORDS OF QUALITY ASSURANCE / QUALITY
CONTROL, TESTING OF THE MATERIALS AND
SATISFACTORY COMPLETION OF AN ACTIVITY SHALL BE
MAINTAINED AT SITE BY THE CONTRACTOR'S ENGINEER
AND SUPERVISING ENGINEERS, ON THE BASIS OF THE
RECORDS, RAILWAYS ENGINEER SHALL DO STAGE WISE

A CLEARANCE, WITHOUT SUCH STAGE CLEARANCE, THE


WORK IN THE NEXT STAGE OF CONSTRUCTION SHALL BE
NOT ALLOWED BY THE RAILWAY SUPERVISOR, UNLESS
PROPER SYSTEM OF CHECK AND EXERCISE IS FOLLOWED

28. ROB GIRDER SHALL BE DESIGNED IN SUCH A WAY THAT IT
SHALL FACILITATE LIFTING OF GIRDERS FOR
TOP PLAN OF PIER REPLACEMENT OF BEARINGS AND FOR OTHER
MAINTENANCE ACTIVITIES.
