Whereas, in order to ensure 8r:eater professionalism among promoterc, bring a cerEin )evel
of consi6teDcy in the practices of prcmot€rs, enforcement of eode of conduct and to discourage
fraudulent promoters, MahaRERA introduced Self-Rcgutatary Organization (SRoq) in th' real
estate sector in Maharaghtra uide MahaRERA Order No. 10, dat€d 11th October 2019. Accordinglv,
it was felt ncccssary to amcnd the Maharashtra REal Estale Regulatory Authority (General)
Regulations, 201?, to enable promoter:s to submit details of their membershiP of SRO, during
submission of their Project Registration Application.
In exercise of the powe$ conferred on it under sub_sections (I ) and clause (/) of sub-section
(9) of sectio[ 85 of the Real Estate (Regulations and Development) Act, 2016 and of all other
powers enabling it in that behalf, the Maharashtra R€aI Estate Regulatoiv Authofity, herebv
make8 the fbllowing R€gulations to a6end the Maharashtra ReaI Estate Regulatory Authority

Estate Regulatory Autho;ty (General) (Second Ararcndment) R€gulations' 2019'
(2) They shall come into force from 1st December 2019.
2. Principal

regulations).
3. In regulation 4 ofthe hincipal R€gulations, after clauee (6), the following clause shall be
inse.t€d, nam€ly r-
(c) Membership details of Promoter with I{a-haRERA registered SRO (Self-Regulatory
Authority).
