CÁCH DÙNG 1.Diễn tả một sự thật hiển
nhiên, một chân lý.
Ex:
- Twice three is six.

2.Diễn tả một hành động
thường xuyên hay thói
quen, lặp lại nhiều lần
thường đi với trạng từ năng
diễn.
Ex:

đang diễn ra trong lúc nói ở
hiện tại.

2.Diễn tả một hành động
đang diễn ra trong thời
điểm hiện tại.
Ex:

- She doesn’t often go to
the cinema.
3.Diễn tả một hành động,
sự kiện xảy ra trong hiện
tại.
Ex:
- I see her crossing the
road.
4.Diễn tả cảm giác.
Ex:
-She hates flying!

5.Thời gian biểu lịch trình.
Ex:
-The plane leaves at 5 p.m
-The train doesn’t arrive

6.Dùng với các liên từ chỉ
thời gian như: as soon as,
when, before..
Ex:

7.Thay thế thì tương lai
đơn chỉ một việc ở tương
lai gần thường dùng với
các động từ: leave, come,
open..khi có các cụm từ
như: tomorrow, next week,
in a few days..

Ex:

5.Để nói về các tình trạng
đang thay đổi.
Ex:
- The population of Việt

6.Diễn tả tình huống tạm
thời ở hiện tại.
Ex:

* Lưu ý: những động từ chỉ
giác quan, cảm xúc, trạng
thái hay sự liên hệ, sở hữu
như: hear, love, look, agree
, like, smell, know,…không
được sử dụng ở thì này.
- Các trạng từ thời gian
mang tính tạm thời
 always, often, at weekends, như:Now, at the moment,
seldom, on Saturdays,… tomorrow, this month, at
present,…
