Performance Engineer same

As a performance Engineer, your focus will be to provide technical assistance to improve system
performance, capacity, reliability and scalability specifically in Azure platform work with developers
to identify performance bottlenecks and development enhancements. Besides working closely with
your colleagues in Bangalore, you will also work closely with Nasdaq teams in other countries.

Experience in gathering non-function requirement from stakeholders, preparing test plan and
relevant docs, effort Estimation, designing and developing test scripts for complex applications

Participating in architectural discussions, working closely with developers, business and clients in a
highly collaborative and Agile environment

Strong experience in performance testing in cloud platforms with containers, cloud, virtualization
and configuration management.

Strong expertise in load testing tools like Load Runner, JMeter, other market leading tools etc

Good programming skills in languages like C, Java, Java script, VB scripting etc

Review development designs and requirements to inform the appropriate parties of potential
performance implications of the new enhancements

Experience in Java code profiling, thread/heap dump analysis using JMC, Java/heap profiling tools

Experience in performance Monitoring tools like App Dynamics, Datadog, Splunk, Perfmon etc

Continuous automated scripting and execution process for various build releases, preparing
comparisons results/analysis

Experience in arriving at different workload models for load, stress and scalability testing, while
analyzing usage patterns from production logs

Experience in performance analysis of results and from monitoring perfmon/JVM/server logs to find
bottlenecks and recommendation to optimize code

Strong aptitude towards performance investigation, troubleshooting, sharing reports/insights

Experience in modeling/simulation of complex scenario and comprehensive end to end performance

automation

Continuous Load/Test automation development experience

Strong knowledge of SQL, database schema design and database testing and data analysis

Main focus on the below points:

Strong experience in Jmeter, CI/CD or other open source load testing tools

Experience in performance monitoring and analysis of cloud platform AWS, Azure etc

Good exposure in Java application profiling, heap/thread dump Analysis
