 ASTROLOGY
Let’s delve into the fascinating world of astrology. Astrology is the
observation of the interplay between the planets and our Earth. Although
astrologers colloquially refer to the Sun and the Moon as “planets,” they are
actually luminaries. Through thousands of years of observation, two key
principles have emerged. First, each planet represents an energetic part of
our being or a component of life (such as emotions, communication style,
or love style). Second, the position of each planet in the heavens indicates
how its component manifests. Natal astrology examines the positions of
planets at the moment of your birth to understand their influence in your
life.

Ancient Babylonian astrologers divided the heavens into 12 sections, each

associated with different styles or archetypes. These are the 12 signs of the
zodiac. Basic astrology considers four factors: Planets, including the Sun

areas of life experience; and Aspects, angular relationships between planets.

criticism but a healthy Capricorn will often shrug off negative comments
towards their character. They are patient and persevering – they know they
can accomplish any task as long as they follow a their plan step-by-step.
Capricorn’s have broad shoulders, and typically take on other’s problems
with aplomb. Ironically, they rarely share their own problems and tend to
go through bouts of inner gloom after a spell of dwelling on these problems.

Aquarius

January 20 – February 18

Often simple and unassuming, the Aquarian goes about accomplishing

goals in quiet, often unorthodox ways. Although their methods may be
unorthodox, the results for achievement are surprisingly effective.
Aquarian’s will take up any cause, and are humanitarians of the zodiac.
They are honest, loyal and highly intelligent. They are also easy going and
make natural friendships. If not kept in check, the Aquarian can be prone to
sloth and laziness. However, they know this about themselves, and try their
best to motivate themselves to action. They are also prone to philosophical

 TAROT
Tarot (/ˈtæroʊ/, first known as trionfi and later as tarocchi or tarocks)
is a pack of playing cards, used from at least the mid-15th century in
various parts of Europe to play card games such as Tarocchini. Thus,
there are two distinct types of tarot packs in circulation: those used for
card games and those used for divination. However, some older patterns,
such as the Tarot de Marseille, originally intended for playing card games,
are occasionally used for cartomancy.
Like the common playing cards, tarot has four suits that vary by region:
French suits are used in western, central and eastern Europe, and Latin
suits in southern Europe. Each suit has 14 cards: ten pip cards numbering
from one (or Ace) to ten; and four face cards: King, Queen, Knight,
and Page. In addition, and unlike standard packs, the tarot also has a
separate 21-card trump suit and a single card known as the Fool.
Depending on the game, the Fool may act as the top trump or may be
played to avoid following suit.
In English-speaking countries where these games are not widely played,
only specially designed cartomantic tarot cards, used primarily for
novelty and divination, are readily available. However, scholarly research
demonstrated that tarot cards were invented in northern Italy in the mid-
15th century and confirmed that there is no historical evidence of any
significant use of tarot cards for divination until the late 18th century.
Historians have described western views of the Tarot pack as "the subject
of the most successful propaganda campaign ever launched... An entire
false history and false interpretation of the Tarot pack was concocted by
the occultists and it is all but universally believed."

 In the occult tradition, tarot cards are referred to as "arcana", with the
Fool and 21 trumps being termed the Major Arcana and the suit cards
the Minor Arcana, terms not used by players of tarot card games.

Major Arcana
The Fool's Journey

The Major Arcana is a 22 card set within the tarot that is considered to
be the core and the foundation for the deck. All of the deck is filled with
archetypal significance, but this is most pronounced within the Major
Arcana. These cards follow a storyline that tells of the spiritual travels
taken from the innocent wonder of The Fool to the oneness and fulfillment
of The World. In other words, these cards tell the story of humanity's
spiritual evolution into enlightenment and individuation.
And so, as we follow the journey of the Fool, we can start seeing
common parallels between our own stages in life and those in the cards,
each card teaching a specific lesson and a concept to meditate over.
Because they form the basis of the tarot, some readings can sometimes be
conducted with only the Major Arcana as well.

Suit of Wands
Energy, drive, willpower, creativity, power

Associated with the element of fire, the suit of wands represents passion,
inspiration and willpower. The wands imbue their users with primal
energy, for it is through them that the cycle of creation can begin. Because
of their ability to bring energy into any situation, they are also associated
with action, ambition and making plans. At their worst, they can refer to
situations that are filled with recklessness and lack of direction. As you
follow the journey within the wands, you'll come across these themes again
and again.

 Suit of Cups
emotion, feelings, intuition, relationships

The suit of cups rules over all that is associated with emotions, the
unconscious, creativity, and intuition. They frequently talk about
relationships, whether romantic or otherwise, and one's imagination and
inner world. They are associated with the element of water, which becomes
a frequent visual theme within this suit. At their worst, the cups suit is fret
with uncontrolled feelings, fantasy, and a disconnect with one's inner voice.

Suit of Swords
logic, ideas, intellect, communication

The swords is the suit of intelligence, logic, truth, ambition, conflict and
communication. It is associated with the element of air. In readings, these
cards focus on the faculty and power of intellect, which like the swords
themselves, are double-edged. This can be used for both good or evil, to
help and to harm, and our greatest conflicts usually come from this delicate
balance. At their worst, the swords can be abusive, harsh, and lack empathy.

Suit of Pentacles

The pentacles is the suit of all things worldly and material. Though we
will immediately think of the pentacles as relating to financial matters, we
also can understand them as being associated with security, stability,
nature, health, and prosperity. The pentacles are of earth element.
When we see pentacles show up in a reading, they are usually concerned
with your long term future, career, generosity, your household, business
investments and your feelings of sensuality. The negative side of the
pentacles show up as greed, jealousy, miserliness, and unbridled ambition
at the cost of all else.

 MAJOR ARCANA
1. THE FOOL
- The subject of the reading is a dreamer, a mystic. He has the desire
to accomplish a great goal. He must be careful to make the right
choice. If he thinks that “when ignorance is bliss, ’tis folly to be
wise,” then he is indeed the Fool.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading is doing a
thoughtless action. And he must be careful because he’s taking a
very big risk.

2. THE MAGICIAN
- The subject of the reading has will, mastery, organizational skills,
creative talents. He has the ability to take the power from above and
direct it through desire into manifestation.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading is indecisive
and has a weak will.

3. THE HIGH PRIESTESS

- The subject of the reading has an unrevealed future, hidden
influences at work. Of special value for artists, poets, composers,
mystics. When this card appears in a man’s reading, it represents the
perfect woman all men dream of; in a woman’s reading, it may
indicate that she can find such virtues in herself or in a friend.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading is in difficult
of listening on their intuition. It is time for them to meditate and try
new approach, for at this moment, the rational approach will not
work. Something has been telling them to follow your gut, but they
may be ignoring the call. There is a lot of confusion around them,
and their actions may feel contrary to what you know is right.

infertility, loss of material possessions, inaction, frittering away of
resources. Possibility of destruction by war and famine. Poverty
may disrupt home. Psychological problems may cause instability.

5. THE EMPEROR
- The subject of the reading is good at leadership, mental activity,
domination. War-making power, authority, paternity. The fruits of
toil, the results of action. Controlled and directed sexual drive.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading is having a
loss of control. Serious injury in battle. Emotional immaturity and
bondage to parents. Possibility of being defrauded of one’s
inheritance.

6. THE HIEROPHANT
The subject of the reading are suggested that it’s better for them to
follow social structures which are established and have their own
traditions.
- When the card is reversed, the subject of the reading is that they are
feeling particularly restricted and even constrained from too many
structures and rules. As a result, they have lost quite a lot of control
as well as flexibility in your life. They have a particularly strong will

We spend so much of our lives at our job; sometimes it can be a drag, and
if we're lucky - it can also be a fulfilling mission. If you're looking for advice

CAREER STATUS CHECK – BRICK BY BRICK

For those of you are looking for a status check on where your work situation
is going, this general-purpose spread is meant to do that for you. This can
be used for several scenarios; whether you’re pretty happy and are thinking
of your longer term trajectory, whether you’re feeling a little blasé about
where you are, and perhaps need some reminders about what you’re doing
there. If you’re at somewhere you don’t particularly like, but you need to be
there for various reasons, this spread might also help you find some of the
more positive moments in your job, and ground you in the bigger picture of
where you’re going. No matter where you are in your life, it’s always
important to consider a longer term picture, whether to find something you
can strive for, or to remind you that the tomorrows of the world don’t need

spread, which was more along the lines of using the day to day as a
foundation to build a future, this spread uses the first card, your goal, as a
means to ground the entire spread, and how you can earn it.

that you can go about it depending on the insight you want to gain.

If you’re not certain about the connection you could do a friend or foe Tarot
spread but we can also focus on how to further and deepen a known
friendship. If you’re potentially looking at your friendship becoming a
romantic one, you could also do a Tarot spread on how they feel about you.

1. Card One: Your Past Together

- Your first card gives you an insight into your connection together so
far. It might represent a time that you bonded closely or an event
that had a big impact on your friendship. You can’t further your
journey in the future without knowing where you’ve been.

2. Card Two: Your Present Connection

- This card shows the current state of your friendship. It might be
representative of a current situation you’re both in, or how you feel
about the friendship right now. It can show you how they think of
you and what’s going on in specific situations and help you navigate
through difficult spots if there’s been friction between you.

3. Card Three: Your Future Together

- This card looks at the potential for your relationship. It might show
things that you’re both working towards or an indication of how
strong the bond between you could be. It can give you a glimpse into
what’s to come and what you can do to make it happen. It can help
you overcome difficult spots and give you hope for the future.

4. Card Four: Obstacles

- If your friendship has been struggling with something a fourth card
