Baking
Baking is popular dry heat
method that involves cooking
food in an oven. The food
cooks equally from the
outside in because heat flows
throught oven’ air. For
example vegetables, bread
cakes and cakes are often
prepare by hand.

Grilling
Grilling is a dry-heat cooking method.Food is
cooked on metal grates that are placed over a
heat source in order to produce a smoky,
charred flavor. Grills can use gas, electricity,
charcoal or wood. Meats, poultry, fish and
vegetables can all be grilled.

Roasting
Roasting is a cooking method that uses dry
heat where hot air covers the food, cooking it
evenly on all sides with temperatures of at
least 150 °C (300 °F) from an open flame,
oven, or other heat source. Roasting can
enhance the flavor through caramelization
and Maillard browning on the surface of the
food.

Boiling
Boiling is a process of heating food in water or a
flavorful liquid until it reaches the boiling point.
This method is appropriate for pasta, eggs and
several typed of seafood.Boiling can cook meals
rapidly, but certain nutrients may seep nto the
cooking liquids.

Steaming
Steaming is a method of cooking that requires
moist heat. The heat is created by boiling water
which vaporizes into steam. The steam brings
heat to the food and cooks it. Unlike boiling, the
food is separate from the water and only comes
into direct contact with the team.
