Facilitator
Ohio University, Athens, OH January 2016-May 2018
● Driven by a DEI need, developed and implemented a comprehensive diversity, equity and
belonging training course to address issues of racism and sexual harassment on campus,
collaborating with the Ohio University medical school (HCOM) and Women's Center.
Preparation required field research and data collection resulting in understanding of DEI
issues in academic internal medicine.
● Collected stories and data to create original skits and scenarios to act out for students
groups in order to communicate complex and sensitive information in clear ways to
diverse audiences
● Led discussions and invited student participants to jump in to act out scenarios with the
actors in order to practice for real-life situations.
