Hello, my name is Cristián Cortes, I am 28 years old, I was born in the third
region of Chile Copiapo but now I live in the fourth region in the city of
Coquimbo. I currently work as an office operator in a company in the city of
La Serena, my hobbies are going fishing, riding a bike and enjoying my free
time with my girlfriend.
I am also currently studying heavy machinery at the Ceduc UCN vocational
technical institute on the Coquimbo campus.
The job field in this career is very broad, having the skills to perform in the
operation of heavy machinery in productive tasks in the surface and
underground mining sector, road works companies in the construction and
maintenance of roads, construction, agricultural and forestry companies, in
addition to carry out basic maintenance and repair of these machinery.
The technical skills to develop are to operate the machinery according to
the characteristics of the terrain, atmospheric conditions, types of
materials and technical specifications.

Carry out basic maintenance according to the parameters and conditions

established by the manufacturer's manual.
Apply risk prevention and environmental considerations in the operation
and basic maintenance of heavy machinery.
The approximate salary of a heavy machinery operator in the first year of
graduation is 748,339 thousand pesos.
The area in which I would like to work as a heavy machinery operator is
mining in a large company like Codelco.
My expectations before finishing my professional career is to obtain all the
necessary knowledge and skills to be one of the best in my area of work.
