3 CONCRETTE WORKS
All concrete work in touch with the soil should be sulphate resisting cement Type V and all shuttering
should be plywood to ensure acceptable fairfaced concrete faces:
-Use vibrations during casting concrete
-All formwork for slabs and beams should be steel
-Cost of concrete to include materials, labors, steel reinforcement and casting
-Contractor should submit shop drawings as per the contract drawings
3.1.7 Ramp for Handicapped
Supply and cast reinforced concrete for handicapped ramp as per specifications and drawings with
respect to location, thickness and shape
Concrete should have 350kg/m3 of cement.

-Formwork

placement of angles of galvanized steel iron of concrete columns thickness of 4 mm every 60 cm

5 METAL WORKS
5.1.1 Steel Work for openings (Doors and Windows)

-All works as per the engineer instructions
5.1.1.1.a Provide single steel gate for the Classroom 01 at the ground level (110*220cm) No 1 $ -
5.1.6 Steel Ramp
Supply and install steel ramp as shown on drawings work to include:
Labour, material and installation
-4cm x 4cm steel angles with the beams and all necessary supports, all to be from galvanized steel

8.2 Aluminum Doors and Windows

-Reveals hard stone 3cm thick, all around for the external opening
-Single glass 6 mm
-Double glass 6-12-6 mm (Outer Glass should be Tempered)

8.2.3 New Aluminum Internal Door
Supply and install an aluminum door with frame and related strengthening stud, Works to include:

-Repair all around the opening

9 FINISHES
9.1 Cement Plaster
Supply and install sand cement layers on concrete and Hollow Concrete Block works surfaces as
specified
The plaster layer should be on a base rough layer
The plaster works should be on level points (‫ ) ودع‬and each point should be at 1.5 m from the second
only
Work to include:
-Materials and accessories (galvanized, wire mesh, cover beds… etc)
-Labors
-All additional watering
-All tools
-Plaster thickness of more than 2 cm

9.1.1 New Internal and External Plaster Works
Supply and apply one layer of sand cement plaster over a rough textured layer of plaster m2 40 $ -

9.2 Tiling Works
Supply and install all tiling items for floors, with the skirtings
Work to include all materials and labors and the Contractor should use all necessary rods and levels as
per the Engineer instructions

9.2.1 Full Mass Colored Ceramic for Floors
Supply and install anti skid colored full mass ceramic tiles for classroom (first choice) for all floor toilets, m2 6 $ -

9.5 Painting
9.5.1 Wall and Ceilings Paint Works
Wall paint includes preparing the surfaces and treating these surfaces so the surfaces be able to receive
the paints, and placing 3 layers of putty The paint should be of the best quality as per specifications and
as indicated in drawings (Grade 8 Room, Teachers Room, and New toilets Ceilings)
The surfaces should be smooth before the layers
The final layer to be applied after approval from the Engineer should be secured before starting the
final layer
All works and items should be as per the manufacturer and the Engineer's instructions and approval, All
paint types must be lead-free and Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds)
9.5.1.3 Oil Paint for new walls and ceilings m2 100 $ -
9.5.3 Paint Damp proof Colorless Layer Unleaded on Facades and Supply a Guarantee for Five Years
Supply and paint with damproof paint after cleaning and washing all walls, and remove the existing
paint and enlarge all cracks especially at the intersection of the hollow concrete blocks and reinforced
concrete slabs and between columns beams and hollow concrete blocks walls (4cm width with 5cm
depth) and refill these grooves with polyethylene sealant what ever their width and depth of these
grooves and then paint one layer of base paint with acrylic styrene copolymer elastomeric waterproof m2 120 $ -
with a fixation of 400% and dissolved by water and then apply two layers over the base paint with
acrylic styrene copolymer elastomeric waterproof and dissolved with water 10% and time needed is 24
hours between each layer.
All works and items should be as per manufacturer and the Engineer instructions and approval, all paint

MECHANICAL ENGINEERING SERVICES
3 SANITARY, WASTE & RAIN WATER PIPE WORK INSTALLATION
3.1 Drainage System inside the Building
Supply, install and test the stormwater drainage from (UPVC) pipes inside the building to outside, and
the pipes are to be measured in Linear Meters with all related accessories, cleanout, elbows, vent
hangers, and all necessary accessories as per standard installation details
The diameters of the pipes are as follows:

5.1 Lighting Fixtures
