“A LEADER is a PERSON who LEADS or COMMANDS a
group, organization or Country.”
QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS:
1. What leadership skills do you find most useful?
Ans. For me, the leadership skills that is most needed is decision making be able to decide what is right and what is wrong and how you’re going to collaborate those two to derived decision because it is very much important to know how to decide and you know how to balance right and wrong because not all the time right is always right and wrong is always wrong most of the time they should be a collaboration of both pros and cons for you to decide to do what is right.
2. How do you describe your leadership style?
Ans. For me, I am more on visionary and transformational leader. Visionary leader because I always innovate what will happen on the near future, what do I want to do in the organization I work for? I always have goals, I think you should have a target to achieve at the end of your term the budget should be like this, the funds should be like this, and the achievement should be like this. At the same time transformational because I understand that organization you should not work alone you must need to create positive change in individuals so that you can grow together. 3. How do you make sure projects and tasks stay on schedule?
Ans. Mostly in organization if you’re a leader you’ll forget a lot because of the task so you need to know the strengths and weaknesses of your team. You need to designate people because you can’t eat a pizza as a whole if you didn’t divide it and that is very much important. You should learn how to designate and you should know how to organize if who can handle this and who can monitor because as a leader doesn’t mean that you should work as you are the best you also need to understand that you have flaws and that flaws should be supplemented by the people you are with. I always begin by discussing the project’s objective and purpose. Then, I assign each team member individual tasks and deadlines. I find that when the teams knows the goals of overall project, they can better see how their role impacts the project’s success.
4. How do goals helps you become a better leader?
Ans. Goals for me to become a better leader if you’re aiming for something because if you’re aiming for something you have a direction or path to achieve the goal and you’ll become a better leader because you can avoid wrong decisions. Setting goals help leaders stay focused on what truly matters. Being a leader, setting goals equals having a bigger picture, a vision that he or she wants to get to. Therefore you need to focus on what are the things that you need to achieve directed towards that.
5. How do you handle disagreements on your team?
Ans. It happened to me when I was the governor in our organization like the other side wants to have a high contribution and the other side wants a low contribution so all I need to do is to hear the both sides if where they can meet halfway and understand the idea of both side. I always remember that the things must be done to handle any forms of conflict is by carefully listening first what does each party wants to say because listening is an essential way to avoid adding more problems in the conflict, the next thing is we must carefully talk to one another and carefully discuss the main problem by finding the main roots so that you'll be able to solve the conflict, and also try lower down your pride.
