The Effects of Hybrid Class to the BTLE Students of USTP Panaon Campus
Aim/Objectives
1. Determine the effects of hybrid class to the BTLE students of USTP Panaon. (Good and Bad
Effects)
2. Determine the level of effectiveness of using the Hybrid Class on student’s learning
outcomes.
Research Questions
The recommendation of the expansion of limited face to face by the Department of Education
was already approved for schools located in areas under alerts 1 and 2. In compliant with the
standards for school assessment tool (SSAT), DepEd-DOH joint students, and teachers to maintain
health protocols in participating in the limited face to face classroom set-up.
The implementation of limited face to face classes has led to the application of Blended Class.
Which students are divided into two groups who will experience the two segments of learning. First is
Face to face to class where the students do their activities, performance task and etc. inside the
classroom with personal correlation of students and their instructor. Second is online where the
students will expose online learning.

Research Question
Industrial arts courses mainly focus on Technology and Livelihood Education which require
essential tools, materials, equipment, and facilities. The practice order provides theoretical and hands-
on knowledge, which leads to the acquisition of practical and acquired skills and the crucial scientific
ability to operate and facilitate technological tools, materials, and equipment. Instructional materials
and newer technologies are suitable for effective learning in industrial arts courses. It extends the
efficiency of teaching and effectiveness of learning to be more pleasant.
These instructional materials could also be the reason for their motivation. There are many
reasons for learners to be motivated to learn. It could be because of their peers or parents and families,
and it could also be because of their learning environment and existing instructional materials and
facilities. This study, therefore, determines the influences of instructional materials on students’
motivation in industrial arts courses.
Academic Progress of High School Students in Public and Private Institutions
Aims/Objectives
1. To compare the academic progress of high school students between private and public
institutions.
Research Question
1. What are the factors underlying the differences in academic outcomes of students who
attend private and public schools?
2. Does the factor include the differences in student characteristics?
3. What are the student’s characteristics that positively associated with academic success?
4. Does the factor include the differences in school resources and practices?
Hypothesis
HO1 The academic outcomes of private high school students exceed those in public high school
students.
