Sub: THEORETICAL SESSIONS ON GLOBAL CITIZEN LEADERSHIP

Dear Students,

Module II & III of Global Citizen Leadership (GCL) program is scheduled on 28th & 29th Feb 2024.

GCL is a half course subject in Trimester III. This course has been modeled around the “Leadership Beyond
Boundaries” program of the world-renowned organization CCL & DI of USA.

The course aims to transform participants into Global Citizen Leaders, who are:

a) Self & socially aware individuals able to work courageously & collaboratively to take on boundary spanning
challenges.

b) Who can transform organizations while transforming themselves.

c) Continual & agile learners able to step into new environments &empathize from multiple perspectives.

d) Seek to transform the world from a positive & collaborative mindset.

e) Not confined by local paradigms when developing solutions

Apart from attending & learning through the theoretical interventions, during this entire trimester course, you have
to work on projects in groups, wherein you will have to not only develop individually, and grow on team members’
strengths, but learn to empathize with multiple stakeholders, observe and through listing the same, develop insights,
merge insights into themes, and eventually arrive at & defend a solution to the problem area which you will be
allocated as a team project.

Attendance and regular active participation in the entire process is mandatory for your development, which is the
aim of this program, and hence please ensure that you give all your very best to the GCL course.

GCL Module II & III:

GCL Phase II - Day 1: Wednesday 28th February 2024 from 9 am to 5 pm

GCL Phase II - Day 2: Thursday 29th February 2024 from 9 am to 5 pm

While the main sessions (common for all students) will be from Auditorium and relayed in rooms –
Brainstorm, 202, 215, 313 bifurcated program wise, you will also have ‘activity sessions’ (by Program) for
which you need commute to respective breakout classrooms for your respective programs.

Appropriate announcements would be made for the same.

Dress Code: Strictly formals with Blazers.

ATTENDANCE WILL BE CAPTURED AT 8.45 AM. NO LATE ATTENDEES WILL BE ALLOWED

STUDENTS WHO MISS TO MARK THEIR ATTENDANCE DURING THE SESSION WILL NOT GET ATTENDANCE
LATER.
