Title:
Temple management system
Introduction:
Temple Management System is software which is helpful for temple administrator and devotees. In the
current system all the activities are done manually. It is very time consuming and costly. Our Temple
Management System deals with the various activities related to the temple and devotees.
Objectives:
The objective of Temple Management System is to allow the administrator of any temple to edit
and find out the personal details of a devotees and allows the devotees to keep the data up to date,
donate the amount and make booking of the darshan online. It’ll also facilitate keeping all the
records of devotee, such as their name, mailing address, phone number. So all the information
about a devotees will be available in a few seconds. Administration makes the report of donation
collection in particular period in a particular temple.
Overall, it’ll make Temple Management System an easier job for the administrator and the
devotees.

Scope of the Project:


User Registration:Allow users (devotees) to register their details securely on the platform.
Donation Tracking:Allow administrators to track and manage donation transactions, ensuring transparency and
accountability.
Online Booking System:Implement an online booking system for devotees to reserve darshan slots conveniently.
Devotee Database Management:Integrate a module to manage devotee databases, ensuring accurate and up-to-date
information storage.
Festival Management:Incorporate modules for managing temple festivals, including scheduling, resource
allocation, and coordination.
Data Encryption:Implement data encryption techniques to ensure the security and confidentiality of user
information.
Access Control:Incorporate access control mechanisms to restrict unauthorized access to sensitive data and
functionalities.
Verification Processes:Integrate verification processes (e.g., email verification) to validate user registrations and
transactions.
Customization Options:Allow users to customize report parameters and formats according to their specific
requirements.

Front end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript
The front end of our website is crafted using a combination of HTML, CSS, JavaScript
HTML provides the structure of our web page; CSS adds style and visual appeal.
Backend: PHP, WAMP,MySQL
The backend of our website we rely on PHP scripting language and WAMP Server for local development.
PHP enables us to handle form submissions and interact with databases, class registrations and other
backend functionalities.
MySQL: An open-source relational database management system (RDBMS) known for its reliability,
performance, and ease of use.
WAMP Server provides a local development environment with MySQL and PHP, allowing us to test and
debug our PHP scripts seamlessly before deploying them to our live server.
Together, PHP and WAMP Server build an efficient backend system.

 Hardware Requirement:
Any processor after Pentium 4.
Any version of Windows XP or later.
Processor speed: 2.0 GHz
RAM : 1GB
Hard disk: 40GB to 80 GB

Module description
The different types of modules present in this project are

1. Admin
2. User(Devotees)
Admin:
1. Dashboard: In this section, admin can see all detail in brief like Total new darshan booking, accepted
darshan booking, rejected darshan booking, total donation, total temple and total festivals.
2. Temple: In this section, admin can manage temple (Add/Update/Delete).
3. Festivals: In this section, admin can manage the festivals (Add/Update/Delete).
4. Darshan Booking: In this section, the admin can manage darshan booking and update the status of
booking.
5. View Donation: In this section, the admin can view the donation detail and print the receipt.
6. Reports: In this section admin, can generate the following reports in a particular period
 Darshan booking: In this section, admin can generate the between dates reports of darshan
booking
 Reports of Donation: In this section, admin can generate the between dates reports of donation.
 Collected Donation: In this section, admin can generate the report of amount which is collected
in a particular temple.
 Registered devotees: In this section, admin can generate the between dates reports of devotees
who registered themselves with temple organization.
7. Pages: In this section admin, can manage about us and contact us page of administration
8. Search: In this section admin, can search following details.
 Darshan booking: In this section, admin can search booking detail by booking number.
 Donation Receipt: In this section, admin can search booking detail by donation
number(receipt number).
 Reg Devotees: In this section, admin can search booking detail by mobile number.
9. Registers Devotees: In this section, admin can view the detail of registered devotees.

Admin can also update his profile, change the password and recover the password.
User (Devotees):
1. Home: It is welcome page for devotees.
2. Donation History: User can view donation history.
3. Darshan History: User can view darshan history and darshan booking status.
4. Profile: User can update his/her profile.
5. Change Password: User can change the password of their account.
6. Logout: User can logout from website.
7. Our Festivals: User can view all the festivals which is celebrated in the temples.
8. Temples: User can view the temple detail, send the donation and book darshan.
9. About: User can view about us page.
10.Contact: User can view contact us page.

Advantages:
 It helps the temple administrator to handle and manage devotees records.
 It helps temple administrator to generate report.
 It brings transparency and efficiency in the working of temple management system.
 Simple user interface to reduce operation time.
 Reduce the data entries lead to eliminate chances of error and reduce operator efforts.
 The system handles multiple temple organization.

Limitation:
 Dependency on internet connectivity for access.
 May require periodic updates and maintenance to ensure smooth operation.
 Limited scalability depending on the server infrastructure.

Future Scope
 Integration of online payment gateways for seamless donation transactions.
 Implementation of a mobile application for easier access by devotees.
 Enhancing security features to protect sensitive data.
 Adding features for volunteer management and resource allocation during temple events.
 Integration with social media platforms for better outreach and engagement with devotees.
