INTRODUCTION
The town of Gairsain has a small area of 7.5 Sq. km which lies under the BACKGROUND STUDY
Chamoli district of Uttarakhand connecting Garhwal and Kumaon region.
Gairsain Nagar Panchayat includes 15 villages dividing the area into 7 wards Secondary Source Information and Literature Review
