INSTRUCTION: Kindly answer the following questions.

1. How can we appreciate art in our daily lives?
We can appreciate art in our daily lives by looking at everything that encompasses us. Art
is everywhere. It may be in music, dancing, paintings, sculptures, art is always present. Moreover,
by studying about it. Studying makes it more interesting for us to know the things that comes with
it. When we study, we gain new knowledge. And this knowledge gives us a better understanding
of art. It’s relevance and role in our lives.

2. Can art and imagination work together? How?

Yes. Artworks inspire creative and innovative thinking. Most art comes from the human
mind and pure imagination. An artist’s imagination forms a picture and idea that later comes to
life through the presence of a physical object– through an artwork. It is merely the expression of
one’s imagination.
3. Kindly define these terms:
 Visual Art- The visual arts are art forms such as painting, drawing, printmaking, sculpture,
ceramics, photography, video, filmmaking, design, crafts, and architecture. The main focus
of visual arts is creative expression through visual means.

 Performance Art- Performance art, a time-based art form that typically features a live
presentation to an audience and draws on such arts as acting, poetry, music, dance, and
painting.

 Applied Art- Applied art is any form of art created with a specific practical purpose in
mind. This type of art can be found in various mediums, such as design, decoration, and
even advertising. Applied art is often used for commercial or utilitarian purposes, such as
product design or architecture.
