I am writing to endorse the upcoming Archeological Investigation and Exploration conducted by the
National Museum of the Philippines in collaboaration with University of Illinois Chicago within
your barangay. This significant project aims to recover the remains of an American World War II
missing in action airplane pilot and crew. The investigation is scheduled to commence from March 1st up
until March 25th, 2024.
We acknowledge that this undertaking may cause temporary inconveniences within your barangay, rest
assured that we are working closely with the National Museum team to minimize any disruption caused
by these activities while always ensuring utmost safety measures.
In line with this initiative, we trust in your support in disseminating information about this archeological
investigation among your constituents. By doing so, we can collectively raise awareness about our shared
history and foster a sense of unity as we honor those who made great sacrifices during World War II, and
deeply appreciate your cooperation in facilitating a smooth process throughout this process.
