The ‘Ask’ – Week 1

Each week we will begin the lab with a summary of what the ‘Ask’ is for the week.
It will document what we are covering, the order in which we will be doing it, and it may
be completed either inside or outside of the class.

In the first part of the class, we will take about 75 minutes to go through the course
expectations and walk through a series of power points. After which we will take a 10-
15 minute break.

In the second part of the class, we will take about 75 minutes to install both ‘Get
Formula’ and the ‘Yahoo Stock Data Loader’ on our machines, practice how to create
and a data table, and do some in-class exercises to refresh our MS Excel skills. What
you do not complete in class time, you can complete outside of class.

Once you have completed the exercises you are done for the week!
