The ‘Ask’ – Week 5

Welcome to the first of our three classes in corporate finance!

In the first part of the class, we will review Basic Financial Analysis in MS Excel. I
expect that it will take us around 75 minutes to go through both the Power Point and the
related exercises, following which we will take a 15 minute break.

In the second part of the class, we will walk through Corporate Valuation Overview, and
learn how to determine Enterprise Value using four different methodologies. We will get
some insight as to how to maximize values and conclude with a valuation of Cisco
Systems from scratch.

Once we have done the valuation, we are done for the evening!
