1.1 General Operating Privileges (Optional)


General operating privileges are available for every tube unit and for every detector for
different periods of time. A certificate is included in the shipment for every general privi‐
lege for operation that the customer has purchased.
 X-ray tube assembly: “X-ray Tube Assembly Insurance Certificate”
 Detector: “Flat Detector Insurance Certificate”
Depending on the system, the certificates are already filled out (Part No., Serial No., etc.).
When shipped, the certificates are either included in the blue manual labeled “Technical
Documents, Register 9”, filed in Register 6, or in a separate DIN A4 envelope (with the
corresponding Part Number printed on it).

1.1.1 X-ray Tube Assembly Insurance Certificate


n The missing data must always be filled out by the startup technician:
- Installation date (= date of turnover to the customer)
- Load Units
- The remaining boxes stay blank.
Exception: The “Removal Date” box must be left open and is filled in only in a war‐
ranty situation.
n File the certificate in the User Handbook in Register 9.

1.1.2 Flat Detector Insurance Certificate


n The missing data must always be filled out by the startup technician:
- Installation date (= date of turnover to the customer)
- The remaining boxes stay blank.
Exception: The “Removal Date” box must be left open and is filled out only in a war‐
ranty situation.
n File the certificate in the User Handbook in Register 9.
