Children do require downtime to recuperate and unwind after a hectic day.

Kids
are spending more of their freetime gaming, but does it take away from
homework, or would they be better when reading a book. In terms of benefits,
reading is better than playing video games.
First of all, reading books is dissimilar from playing video games. While
playing video games is extremely unproductive -is bottle-feed creativity from
another’s imagination and has little value in them while reading is really
productive –acquires readers with a great deal of knowledge nd useful tips.
According to a research paper of the department of Computer Science in Kent
State university, reading brings a lot of good effects, such as the ability to
analyze authors’ implications or having rich vocabularies for writing. In short,
reading books outweighs playing video games in a variety of aspects.
On the other hand, both two leisure activities have many similarities. The first
identical thing is that reading and gaming are time-consuming. For example, to
finish reading a book cannot take a day or mastering a type of games is a long
period of training and playing. Also, both do not consume too much energy in
your body. Additionally, readers or players are taken out of reality when reading
or playing video games, for each has its own characters in a different world and
situation. The last but not least is the price for eacyh activity, which is
affordable for everyone. When a person downloads a game, it is free or some
may cost from $2-$4 as well as buying a book only costs a breakfast.
In summary, reading has many advantages. In the advanced world, when
technology is being developed and attracts most people, reading books still
plays an important role in bringing knowledge to readers, and the most
important is to bring fun to readers with tales of ribaldry.
