B. Motivation
Ask the students to bring out their ruler. Ask 3-5 volunteer to share something they know
about the ruler and the measurements indicated to it. Praise the students for participating.
Correct the misconception they know about the ruler. Explain to them that a ruler has
different markings and each markings has a value or measurements.

D. Application
The students will make a drawing plate considering the prescribe distance/measurement
of the lines. The borderlines should be ½” away from the edge of the drawing paper, the
title block is 1” in height at will be divided into two parts (upper block and lower block),
and lastly, the guidelines which is 1/8” away from the lines of the title block (this activity
will last for at least an hour).

objects that is related to the topic.

The students need to prepare drawing materials and tools such as pencil, markers,
white cartolina, ruler, coloring materials and other necessary materials in poster
making. All groups need to accomplish the activity in 45 minutes before the
presentation. Rubric will be used to rate the student’s output.
