Notes and Statement

1.Battery using specification

The Tankbot is powered by 7.4V lithium battery. As the battery level should
be below 100% during transportation, please charge the battery for 3 hours
above.

1) Please use the power adapter we offer. When you use the power

adapter to charge the battery without plugging in, the indicator will turn green.

2) When you charge the battery after plugging in and the indicator turns

red, it means that the battery is being charged. When the indicator turns green,
it indicates that the battery is fully charged. Please remember to unplug the
power adapter after charging to avoid damage to the battery.

3) The battery paring wire cannot connect to the battery until it connects

to the controller to avoid short circuit and danger due to the contact between
the positive and negative poles.

4) Please connect the battery pairing wire before using the Tankbot. And

ensure red wire to red wire, and black wire to black wire.

5) When the lithium battery is below 6.4V, the controller will beep and you

need to charge the battery in time.

6) As the lithium battery will over discharge, please fully charge the

battery if you do not use Tankbot for a long time and disconnect the pairing
wire between Tankbot and battery. Please do not pull the pairing wire violently
to eliminate the damage to the interface.

7) Please keep the battery away form the high temperature and fluid to

avoid overheating, fire and moisture, which will lead to function decline and
short service life.

2.Installation notes

1) Please assemble the Tankbot according to the tutorials in “1.Getting

ready->2.Installation Tutorial”

2) Please install the sensor strictly according to the “Installation Tutorial”,

otherwise it will affect the game performance.

3) Be careful when using the screwdriver, wrench and other tools.

3.Tankbot using specification

There is a robotic arm of 6 DOF on the Tankbot. Please follow the below
specifications to use the Tankbot.

1) To guarantee stable game performance, please charge the Tankbot

first when the battery is below 6.4V, and then continue your operation.

2) When the Tankbot is moving, please keep the Tankbot away from your

face and eyes to avoid injury.

3) When the Tankbot is moving, please keep your finger out of the robotic

arm moving area.

4) When the Tankbot is performing, please place it on the smooth ground,

otherwise Tankbot cannot make a turn well.

5) After the Tankbot is powered on, please do not forcefully pull the joints

of the robotic arm, otherwise the joints may be easily damaged.

6) The servo is a precision component as well as a consumable, which

needs to be replaced after a long time use or overuse.

7) Please prevent the Tankbot from falling from a high edge when the

Tankbot is moving.

8) When the servos on the robotic arm have worked for a long time, they

will get hot and you should let them “rest” till they cool down.

9) The rotation ranges of the six servos on the robotic arm are different.

The rotation angle of the No. 1 servo is 0-180°. To prevent blocking, the
rotation angle is limited to 126° and the program cannot be modified. The
rotation angle of No. 2-6 servos is 0-240°. In order to prevent blocking, the
rotation angle of No. 6 servos are limited to 180°and the program can be
modified, but please pay attention that the rotation angle can not exceed 180°.

4.Controlling part

Please insert the handle receiver and the Bluetooth module into the
controller according to “1.Getting Ready->2.Installation Tutorial”. After that, you
can control the Tankbot. And you need to focus on the following points.

1) The package does not include battery for handle, you need to prepare

2 AAA dry batteries.

2) You can only control the Tankbot through Android phone and the

software system should be above 5.0. Please ensure GPS is turned on.

3) Please directly pair the Tankbot Bluetooth by tapping the Bluetooth

icon on the APP interface and do not operate in phone settings.

5.Program downloading

1) To facilitate the user to experience the secondary development games,

multi-game switching program has been burned into the microcontroller before
delivery. This program includes four games, namely handle control, phone
control, line following and standing after rollover. And you just need to press
the function key on the controller to switch the games.

2) The .hex files of the program files involved in “4. Intelligent Games
Lesson” and “5. Remote Control Lesson” have already been generated. And
you can check how to burn the program in “3. Set Development Environment”.
