energy demand is met.

Available options for transitioning towards a 100% sustainable energy system

• Opportunities for specific renewable energy technologies are reviewed, along with
any future potential options. This discussion covers each of the follow sections:
o Electrical generation 35%
o Heating/cooling sector
o Transportation sector

The electricity grid

• A review of the country’s electricity grid is provided, along with a discussion of
15%
opportunities for decentralised/smart grid technologies.

Economic feasibility
• The current economics of the country’s energy system is reviewed, along with a
discussion covering the impact that a transition towards 100% sustainable energy 15%
system could have on its cost of energy.

Presentation
• Clear, concise throughout and written in good, academic English.
• Any figures/tables are clear, correctly labelled, with appropriate captions and 10%
