Title: Development Of Edible Dessert Cup Using Yautia (Xanthosoma sagittifolium (L.) Schott)
Tuber

1. Testing and Analysis

Table 1. Analysis and laboratories

METAL (Heavy Metal
Analysis)
• Mercury
• Cadmium
• Lead
• Arsenic
Microbiological Test
• Yeast and Molds
• Topal Plate Count

Samples were sent to the respective laboratories; where microbiological test, proximate,
and heavy metal analysis were sent to Intertek testing laboratory at Makati.
Physicochemical analysis was done at Chempro laboratories, and shelf-life analysis will
be done at SentroTek laboratories.

2. Results
Chempro laboratories were able to release the results of physicochemical analysis on
March 13, 2024; the analyzed properties of edible dessert cup are pH, color, and water
activity.
