 Acute changes are hemorrhage, granulation tissue, giant cells, hemosiderin laden
macrophages, cholesterol clefts, necrosis, rarely infarction (Diagn Cytopathol

 Chronic changes are infarction, oncocytes, squamous or spindle metaplasia, fibrosis,
