Assignment 1: Construction of lines and curves

1. The main feature on a window curtain is a triangular design with the following
specifications; perimeter 160mm and sides in the ratio 3:5:6. Construct the triangle.
Measure and state the length of the three arms of the triangle [10].
2. A design template is displayed in figure 1. Construct the template and fully dimension the
figure [15].

Figure 1 shows a logo of a popular Japanese vehicle. Construct the logo twice full size. Fully
dimension the logo. Dimensions are in millimetres [25].

use of instruments where applicable. Estimate all other dimensions [25].
