How do you plan to implement this lesson and integrate the technology? Check all that apply:

Teacher-led: There is no student voice and choice in the activities. Students are guided by the
teacher's direction and expectations. Learning activities are assigned to the student and mostly
practice based.

✘ Student-Led: Students are given voice and choice in the activities. They may select the topic of
learning and/or determine the tool they will use to meet the learning goal. The teacher facilitates
the learning as the students direct their own learning processes.

Problem-based and/or Publishable: Students are solving problems and completing projects to
demonstrate their learning. Additionally, the projects can be shared outside of the classroom.
(Note: This objective could be reached by displaying the project on the school’s morning
newscast, posting the project to the classroom blog, presenting it to another class, or publishing
it via an outside source.)

statement to the students then transition into the PowerPoint. As I am going over the PowerPoint
the students will fill in fill in the blank notes to follow along within the notes there will be an
example and definitions. Following the PowerPoint I will introduce Spotify for Podcast. I will go over
what the students need to include which will be the definition and example not listen in the
PowerPoint on each type. I will encourage my students to be creative and to use different sound
effects. As the students are creating their own podcast, I will be walking arounds to help in any way
that I can.
Managing student learning:
My student will be active learners while creating their PowerPoints. This activity is hands-on and student led
which will help promote their own creativity in different ways. This can help students help student drive
deeper, explore more about a topic, and enhance their own learning.
Universal Design for Learning (UDL) Reflection: Be sure to mention one specific UDL principle you
are focused on in this lesson – Multiple Means of Engagement, Multiple Means of Representation,
or Multiple Means of Action & Expression.
In this lesson, I am focusing on Multiple Means of Actions and Expression. Throughout this activity
the student will be promoted to use their creativity and make it their own. The students are
encouraged to show what they know in a variety of ways.
Reflection: This lesson allows for students to learn about different productive resources in a fun and
engaging way. Student will be able to be hands-on and excited about the new thing that they are
learning about. My favorite thing about this lesson is it allows student to be creative and think
outside the box to show what they have learned.
