Customer Concern: Vibration at idle that goes away when driving down the road. It is worse in gear. Reverse and drive are about the same. There are no codes.

Tests/Procedures: 1. Check for grounded out or tight motor mounts.

2. Monitor the fuel trims to see if it is running rich or lean.

3. Check the engine vacuum to see if it is low or shaky.

4. Loosen and tighten the motor and transmission mounts with the vehicle in gear and it vibrating while prying on them to see if it makes a difference.
