The Jain GeneSys Flow Control Sprinkler & System is the first in a new generation of sprinklers and web based control
systems, taking the irrigation industry in a new direction.

It optimizes the application of water and nutrients to match the plant requirements within a particular terrain and time
by the means of a customized field ‘prescription map’. It moves away from the principle of application uniformity and the
one size fits all approach of standard sprinkler systems, to the next generation Precision Variable Rate Irrigation.

The Jain GeneSys Flow Control Sprinkler can be programmed wirelessly to adjust the diameter of throw and flow rate of
each individual sprinkler within a group of up to 500 units simultaneously. It gives you control to apply an exact dose of
water & nutrients when and where required. It is ‘Precision Irrigation’ with results in water savings of 20-30% along with
a potential increase in yield. Jain’s GeneSys Flow Control Sprinkler & System can be used with linear, center pivot & fixed
sprinkler operating systems

The seamless adjustments of diameter of throw and nozzle flow rate are controlled by the rotation time and the energy
generated through the sprinkler rotation itself. Both are controlled by a computational and communication chip in
the sprinkler and communication is directed through a mesh network to and from a web based control system. As the
sprinkler generates its own energy through a generator in the unit, the harvested energy savings is then used to control
the sprinkler and for communication through this unique Patent Pending irrigation device.

A field prescription map is generated from a number of various techniques, to match the specific soil profile and/or
chemical treatment needed at that time. The web based control system then programs the irrigation device (pivot) and
sprinkler according to the position of the sprinkler, to the parameters of that sprinkler for that time and position as
outlined in the prescription. Each sprinkler can be changed infinitely to suit either a new condition or position on the
field map and both diameter and flow can be changed to suit.
