PRESENT TENSE OF VERBS

A present tense is a form of the verb

occurring in the current moment that is
represented by either the base form or the "-
s" inflection of the third-person singular,
contrasting with the past and future tenses.

Also the Present tense of Verbs is an action

or event that is ongoing or that takes place at Me Ma’am
the present moment

Can you give me now your idea about Ma’am Present tense is the word that we
Present tense? use in the present for example. I am going

Simple Present tense

We use the simple present tense when an

action is happening right now, or when it
happens regularly Yes Ma’am

It is used to describe habits, unchanging

situations and general truths. Just always
remember to use the base form of the verb:
(I take, you take, we take, they take) And the
3rd person singular takes an -s at the end.
(he takes, she takes) okay?

For example:

“I draw” it described the Habit.

“I work in the Philippines” it described the
Unchanging situation because. Last
“Russia is a large country” and this is the
general truth because Russia is country in
the map

How to Form the Simple Present?

In the simple present, most regular verbs use
the root form, except in the third-person
singular (which ends in -s).

First-person singular: I write

Second-person singular: You write

Third-person singular: He/she/it writes (note

the -s)

And in Plural

First-person plural: We write

Second-person plural: You write

Third-person plural: They write It is Singular Ma’am (everyone answered)

So in my example lately that is “I draw”. Is

it a plural or singular?

That’s correct it is singular because of the

word “I”.

I will show you an image and create an

example.

Me Ma’am!

So who wants to tell me what is the

image describe and create an Ma’am the picture shows that the boy is
example of simple present tense paying. And the example I create Ma’am is
“ He plays Football”

Always remember that on the simple present

tense the Third person singular do not forget
that it always ends in -s.

Example again is “She enjoys playing the

piano”. She is singular that is why the word Yes Ma’am.
