The first Ajinomoto Corporation was founded in Japan in 1909, following the
discovery of the country's first monosodium glutamate with the Ajinomoto brand.
Through April 2021, the company will continue to operate a representative office,
sales offices in thirty countries and regions, over 32,500 employees worldwide, and
121 manufacturing facilities. There are Ajinomoto products available in over 130
countries and regions. The two primary product categories are foods and amino acid
products.

Established in 1991, Ajinomoto Vietnam Company is a wholly foreign-owned

subsidiary of the Ajinomoto Group, having raised over USD 8 million in its founding
capital. Currently, Ajinomoto Vietnam runs two factories in Bien Hoa that have been

Question 2: What lessons did you learn from the guest speaker’s presentation and
sharing?
Through the speaker's presentation and sharing, I learned confidence when standing in
front of a crowd, enthusiasm, and how they always focus on the entire group instead of
an individual. Furthermore, the speaker interacted with the audience actively, for
example asking questions and letting us discuss. Finally, use body language when
speakers present and share. These things have given me more motivation and practice
when presenting in class. In addition, I see that employees have very unique and
creative ideas, expressed through their working style. In particular, the factory has
many modern equipment and an interesting and fun working atmosphere. Factory
workers cooperate with each other and prioritize life values such as minimizing
environmental pollution and developing a scientific lifestyle based on human food.
