PAST SIMPLE koristimo:

- za radnju koja se dogodila u prošlosti i točno znamo kada:

- za radnju koja je završila u prošlosti:
I read that book yesterday.

Otvorite udžbenike na stranicu 79 i pročitajte. Razmislite kakva nas budućnost očekuje, hoće li svijet u
kojem živimo biti bolji ili gori. Jeste li optimisti ili pesimisti? Nakon toga, napišite u bilježnicu u dva
stupca rečenice iz lekcije:

Our world will be a better place to live: Our world will be a worse place to live:

A cure for AIDS and cancer will be found. The ice caps will melt.
There won't be any fatal diseases. The sea level will rise.
People will be healthier and they will live longer. Many cities will disappear.
