Designation: Business Finance

Roles & Responsibilities:

The position involves partnering with business for the Unacademy Offline Centers

● Partner with Finance and Offline Head to develop Operational model and deliver
retail business's operating plan, ensuring tight linkage to the strategic priorities and
operating plans defined by the business.
● Driving Financial Governance & Controls across entire Offline Centers
● Driving Revenue Accounting & Assurance for Offline Operations

The Position would be responsible for the following deliverables.

● Ensuring Financial planning and Financial Governance around entire Offline Center
Operations
● Strengthen controls and adequate discipline around operating costs including
leading P&L discussions with Finance and Business to improve overall profitability
● Collaborate with Business Heads and the Business Finance Team to set up Financial
● Discipline and drive cost control initiatives to deliver Retail EBITDA
● Drive support to New Center Opening Team to ensure seamless support from
finance and ensure timely capitalization
● Set up adequate controls around Order to Cash reconciliations for across all Centres
to minimize revenue leakages
● Drive timely reconciliation and query resolution with Offline Center Heads
 ● Work with cross-functional teams including in resolving financial and revenue
related issues.
● Drive adherence to processes pertaining to timely closure of both statutory &
internal audits

Requirements :

● CA/MBA in Finance with 4-7 years of experience in a fast paced and high growth
Retail/ Startup/ Omni Channel Business or a large FMCG
● Strong experience in Business Finance, FP&A, Business Partnering
● Technology orientation coupled with Strong Analytical skills to be able to
comprehend large data sets
● Strong exposure of driving Opex and Capex budgeting and Financial Controls
● Strong people management & Collaboration skills, as dealing with multiple business
and zonal heads and other key verticals in the organization is key critical to success
of this role.
