5. Inspect & test running Machinery and Equipment in E/R.

6. Inspect Main Engine in accordance with SMC-1931.


(Before entering ports, narrow channels or arrival of pilot boarding ground)
□ □  Practice the inspection of M/E 12 hours to 36 hours before during daytime.
Note: After practice the above, the Master can practice the inspection of
M/E at S/B engine.
□ □  Vocal Communication System (Telephone between E/R and Bridge)
□ □  M/E Telegraphs in E/R and Bridge, and RPM indicators

7. Inspect Radio equipment in working condition

8. Conformation pre Entering Port

□ □  Times of Sunrise/Sunset and Tides during anchoring and berthing
□ □  Drainage-line arranged properly to correct treated water (Vessel equipped
Food waste treated machine)

When any problem occurred for entering port, the Master shall report the situation to
the Team Leader of Marine Team immediately.
