 INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE CANDIDATES APPEARING IN OMR BASED EXAM
OMR आधारित परीक्षा में आने वाले उम्मीदवारों के लिए महत्वपूर्ण निर्देश

1. Please bring this Admit card in original.

कृ पया इस एडमिट कार्ड को मूल रूप में लाएं ।
2. Bring any one Photo Identity Proof such as PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License/ Voter’s Card/ Bank Passbook with photograph/ Photo
identity proof issued by a Gazzetted Officer/Identity Card issued by a recognized college/ university/ Aadhar card with a photograph/ E-
Adhar with a photograph/ Employee ID)OR any other Govt. recognized photo ID proof in original. Candidate without Photo ID proof will
not be permitted to appear for the examination. If identity of the candidate is in doubt the candidate will not be allowed to appear for the
Examination.

Note: The photo identity proof must contain the same name as it appears on the Admit card.

-Ration Card will NOT be accepted as valid id proof.

-In case of any discrepancy in identity i.e. mismatch in name, photograph and signature, the candidate may not be permitted to
appear for the examination.
-पहचान में किसी भी विसंगति जैसेकि नाम, तस्वीर और हस्ताक्षर के बेमेल होने पर, उम्मीदवार को परीक्षा में बैठने की अनुमति नहीं दी जा सकती है।
3. You are advised to report to the examination venue at the time mentioned on the Admit Card.
आपको सलाह दी जाती है कि एडमिट कार्ड में उल्लिखित समय पर परीक्षा स्थल पर रिपोर्ट करें ।
Note: Candidate will not be allowed to enter the examination venue after Gate Closure Time.

4. Candidate without Admit card and Valid Photo ID Proof shall not be allowed in the Examination under any circumstances by the center
superintendent.
कें द्र अधीक्षक द्वारा किसी भी परिस्थिति में प्रवेश पत्र और वैध फोटो पहचान पत्र के बिना उम्मीदवार को परीक्षा हेतु अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी।
5. Candidate shall not be allowed to leave the Examination Hall before the conclusion of the examination and without handing over the OMR
Answer Sheet and subjective answer sheet to the Invigilator concerned.
उम्मीदवार को परीक्षा के समापन से पहले और संबंधित पर्यवेक्षक को ओएमआर उत्तर पत्रक तथा सब्जेक्टिव उत्तर पत्रक सौंपे बिना परीक्षा हॉल छोड़ने की अनुमति नहीं दी जाएगी ।
6. Candidate should check and ensure that the Test Booklet contains as many number of pages as written on the top of the cover page.
उम्मीदवार यह जांच ले और सुनिश्चित कर ले कि टेस्ट बुकलेट के कु ल पृष्ठ की संख्या बुकलेट के शीर्ष पर लिखे गए पृष्ठों की संख्या के बराबर हो|
7. Candidate shall not remove any page(s) form the Test Booklet and if any page (s) is/are found missing from his/her Test Booklet, he/she
may be liable for suitable action.
उम्मीदवार किसी भी पेज को टेस्ट बुकलेट से किसी भी रूप में नहीं निकालेंगे और यदि कोई पेज उसकी / उसके टेस्ट बुकलेट से गायब पाया जाता है, तो वह उपयुक्त कार्र वाई के
लिए उत्तरदायी होगा ।
8. Candidate should bring good quality blue/black ball point pens for the examination. Use of Pencil, Ink/Sketch Pen or Gel Pen is STRICTLY
PROHIBITED.
उम्मीदवार को परीक्षा के लिए अच्छी गुणवत्ता वाली नीली / काली बॉल प्वाइंट पेन लाना होगा| पेंसिल, इंक / स्के च पेन या जेल पेन का उपयोग सख्त मना है।
9. Candidate should use blue/black ball point pen only to write particulars on the cover page of Test Booklet, OMR and for darkening the
circles of responses. Darken ONLY ONE CIRCLE for each answer as shown in the example below. If you darken more than one circle, that
answer will not be evaluated.
उम्मीदवार को ब्लू / ब्लैक बॉल पॉइंट पेन का उपयोग के वल टेस्ट बुकलेट, ओएमआर के कवर पेज पर विवरण लिखने और प्रतिक्रियाओं के वृत्त को काला करने के लिए करना होगा
| नीचे दिए गए उदाहरण में दिखाए गए अनुसार प्रत्येक उत्तर के लिए के वल एक ही वृत्त को गहरा करें । यदि आप एक से अधिक वृत्त को गहरा करते हैं, तो उस उत्तर का मूल्यांकन

नहीं किया जाएगा।

10. The candidate should ensure that he/she has darkened the circle providing information on the Roll Number, Test booklet number, Center
code & Question paper series in the OMR Sheet.
उम्मीदवार को यह सुनिश्चित करना होगा कि उसने ओएमआर शीट में रोल नंबर, टेस्ट बुकलेट नंबर, सेंटर कोड और प्रश्न पत्र श्रृंखला के बारे में जानकारी प्रदान करते हुए सर्क ल को
सही सही काला कर दिया है।
11. Pencil, Calculators , Logtables, calculating devices or any other electronic devices, Communication Devices like Cellular Phone/Pager etc.
and textual materials is strictly prohibited in the examination Center. No whitener/eraser/blade is allowed for changing answers. Edible
items are not allowed. If a candidate is in possession of cellular Phone/Pager or any other electronic device during the exam, the same
will be forfeited and his/her candidature may be cancelled. NO arrangements will be made in the Examination Center to keep personal
belongings. Pencil box, bags, purses etc are not allowed inside the examination Center.
पेंसिल, कै लकु लेटर, लॉजटेबल्स, उपकरणों या किसी अन्य इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरणों, संचार उपकरणों जैसे सेलुलर फोन / पेजर आदि और पाठ्य सामग्री परीक्षा कें द्र में सख्त वर्जित है।
उत्तर बदलने के लिए कोई व्हाइटनर / इरे ज़र / ब्लेड की अनुमति नहीं है। खाद्य पदार्थों की अनुमति नहीं है। यदि कोई उम्मीदवार परीक्षा के दौरान सेलुलर फोन / पेजर या किसी
अन्य इलेक्ट्रॉनिक उपकरण के साथ पाया जाता है, तो उसे जब्त कर लिया जाएगा और उसकी उम्मीदवारी रद्द कर दी जाएगी। व्यक्तिगत सामान रखने के लिए परीक्षा कें द्र में कोई
व्यवस्था नहीं की जाएगी। परीक्षा कें द्र के अंदर पेंसिल बॉक्स, बैग, पर्स आदि ले जाने की अनुमति नहीं है।
12. OMR answer sheet consists of only one copy which will be submitted to the invigilators once the examination will be over.
ओएमआर उत्तर पुस्तिका की के वल एक प्रति होगी, जो परीक्षा समाप्त होने पर पर्यवेक्षकों को जमा कर दी जाएगी।
13. The Admit Card is issued provisionally to the candidate as per the information provided by her/him in online application form. The
eligibility of the candidate has not been verified by the University of Allahabad .University of Allahabad will verify the same before
admission. Qualifying the Examination would not confer a right on any candidate for admission as it is only one of the eligibility criteria
for admission.
ऑनलाइन आवेदन पत्र में उम्मीदवार द्वारा प्रदान की गई जानकारी के अनुसार एडमिट कार्ड जारी किया जाता है। उम्मीदवार की पात्रता इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय द्वारा सत्यापित नहीं
की गई है। इलाहाबाद विश्वविद्यालय इन जानकारियों को दाखिले से पहले सत्यापित करे गा। परीक्षा उत्तीर्ण करना किसी भी उम्मीदवार को दाखिले के लिए अधिकार प्रदान करना नहीं
है, यह दाखिले के लिए पात्रता का मानदंड के वल है।
 ADVISORY FOR CANDIDATES REGARDING COVID-19

University of Allahabad will implement Social Distancing measures as per Government of India
guidelines in current situation of COVID-19 to ensure health & safety of the candidates.
Adequate measures are implemented for safety of all without compromising the high standards,
sanctity, and fairness in conduct of the examination. Candidates are also required to adhere to
guidelines and new process for Social Distancing and hygiene to ensure safety & health of their
own and fellow candidates. For safety purposes, University of Allahabad strongly advises
candidates not to bring anything other than permitted items. However, in case of unavoidable
situation, there will be arrangement to store the bags at centres at owner’s risk.
Pre-Exam Preparation

I. As a precaution for COVID-19, Candidate to check Reporting/ Entry time at Centre given in
the Admit Card and to reach centre as per Reporting time only to avoid any crowding at
the centre at the time of entry and to maintain social distancing.
II. All candidates are required to carefully read the Instructions and Advisory for COVID-19
and strictly adhere to them.
III. Candidates will be permitted to carry only the following items with them into the
examination venue:
a. Personal transparent water bottle,
b. Personal hand sanitizer (50 ml).
c. A simple transparent Ball Point Pen.
d. Admit Card (downloaded from University of Allahabad website) along with a original
photo Identity Proof.

At time of Entry

I. Candidates need to maintain a space of at least 6 feet from each other at all the time.
Queue manager / ropes and Floor Marks will be arranged outside the centre, follow the
instructions provided by centre staff.
II. Candidates will be required to sanitize hands with Hand Sanitizer before entry in centre.
Hand sanitizer will be available at various locations in the centre.
III. Candidate will be offered a fresh 3 Ply mask before entry. In order to stop chances of any
UFM being used in the examination, the candidate is expected to wear the freshly provided
mask at the centre. The candidate will be required to remove the mask worn by him/ her
from home, and use the mask provided at centre only.
IV. Candidate should bring Identity Proof as advised under Point-2 of IMPORTANT
INSTRUCTIONS FOR CANDIDATES given on Page-2.
V. At time of entry, body temperature (using Thermo Guns) will be checked and centre staff
will guide you to respective labs after scanning bar code at Admit Card. Candidates are
required to strictly adhere to instructions provided by centre staff.
VI. Please observe that no-one will be denied permission to appear for examination, until he/
she violates the COVID-19 directives/advisories of Government (Central/State) applicable
on the day of exam and instructions mentioned in the Admit Card.

During Examination

I. In the examination rooms social distancing would be followed.

II. Before each shift starts (and after last shift of the candidate) Seating Area will be
thoroughly sanitized.

After Examination

I. On completion of a shift, the candidates will be permitted to move out in an orderly

manner one candidate at a time. Please wait for instructions from invigilator and do not get
up from your seat until advised.
