Growlithe Plushie

I kind of Frankenstein-ed this Growlithe from a couple of different patterns, along with my own
deviations. The original inspiration for this little guy came from
http://aphid777.deviantart.com/art/Baby-Growlithe-624770314.

This pattern is for personal use only, it may not be redistributed as I do not own the character. This is
an original pattern by Ari Connell.

Sew all pieces together. It helps a lot to place everything with straight pins first, removing them as you
sew. Should look something like this:

Once the body is in one piece, we can start on the details.

Using the tan felt, cut out shape for the muzzle and belly. Glue to body. I used pins to hold them in
place as it dries.

With black and white felt, cut out the shapes for the eyes. Assemble and glue eyes, let dry before
gluing them to the head.
With black felt, cut out nose and stripes (3 for back, 2 for each hind-leg, and 1 for each front leg). Glue
on.

Make sure everything is dry before adding hair!

Using your hook, attach the White (or Tan, or Buff) on top of the head, on the chest, and tail, splitting
each strand of yarn as you go. (splitting is not required, I’ve just found that it make it easier to comb out
later.)

After the hair is all brushed out and styled/cut, you can add a spritz of hairspray to lock in the puffiness,
but only if it’s going to be a decorative piece.

Sew or glue on his mouth, and BAM!

Okay, I hope you enjoyed making this little dude as much as I did!
