Hurom-Hurom Cold Spring Resort

 Hurom-Hurom is located at Nabas, Aklan. The main pool is actually a basin that catches
water from a spring that flows from the mountain. It is the original and the biggest spring
source. We passed by three spring resorts before coming to Hurom-Hurom. Hurom-Hurom
means “to dip or to submerge”. You will surely enjoy the dip cold spring that is perfect for
summer.

Hurom-Hurom is the first place in Aklan I visited when I was 7 years old. My family had a
summer vacation so we decided to go to Aklan because the parents of my mother is from
Aklan. Together with my cousins and my aunties, we went to this beautiful relaxing place. I
enjoyed my summer vacation together with them. At a very young age, I was amazed by this
place. What catches my attention was the various pools sourced from the same spring. The one
pool where I swam seems very cold. The other pool was a bit hot which is perfect for the
people who love to go to spa. I swam again to another pool and it’s amazing because the water
is warm. You can select where you want to swim based on your preferred temperature. The
Hurom-Hurom has a small convenient store. You can have picnic with your love ones in the huts
beside the pool which can be rented in an affordable price. This resort is usually visited by the
locals because it is not that popular to the tourist, but today despite of increasing popularity it
remains budget-friendly for the locals to afford and appreciate.

I must say that I enjoyed my summer vacation together with my family. So, if you ever
go to Aklan, I suggest that you visit the Hurom-Hurom Coldspring Resort in Nabas, Aklan. At a
very affordable price, you will definitely enjoy and relax in this cold spring resort. I assure you
that it will be worth your time and every penny you spend.
