4, OBJECTIVE

1.2. Provide clean and tidy transportation route for easy tractability.

2. SCOPE
2.4. Workmanship
Workmanship shail comply with all drawings regarding the panel
installation scope which is being approved,
2.2. Detail Drawing for fabrication of various type brackets and Hook-Ups.
These drawings clearly show various types of brackets for various Hook-Ups
that shall be required for the installation of panel.
2.3. Surface preparation and painting of brackets,
i) All brackets which are required for the installation shall have a
surface preparation before being painted.
il) Painting shalt be carried out in accordance to the paint and protective
coating specification
2.4, Inspection of materials and painting
Shall be carried out in accordance to specification

4. PROCEDURE
4.1. Inspection
Inspection of panel and accessories shall be inspected by CLIENT
before the work proceeds.
4.2. Welding Preparation:
Welding of support and gland plate should according to the welding
procedure.
4.3. Installation of Channel Base and Gland Plate
4.3.1. Measure actual size of floor opening.
4.3.2, Prepare and issue fabrication drawing of gland box for approvals.
4.3.3. Fabrication of galvanize steel plate as per approved drawings. No
sharp edge should be left on every piate ends.
4.3.4. Apply touch up paint to the part of no welding required
4.3.5. Install channel base according to layout drawing.
4.36. Leveling the channel base using Magnetic Level meter. Apply shim
plate where necessary to leveling
4.3.7. Inspection of channel base installation (by CLIENT).
4.3.8. Issue confirmation to civil department for grouting finished (by
CLIENT),
4.3.9. After civil finishing work, handover from civil work for continuing
the installation work.
4.3.10. Clean and install support for gland box by fully welded,

4.3.14, Dry set the paint and install the bottom plate for confirmed
finish installation.
4.3.15. Inspection of gland plate installation by CLIENT.
4.4. Installation of support for busduct
4.4.1. Measure actual size of opening wall for busduct entrance
4.4.2. Prepare and issue fabrication drawing of busduct hanger and support
for approvals.
44.3. Fabrication of busduct hanger and support as per approved
drawings. No sharp edge should be left on every steel support
ends
4.4.4, Apply touch up paint immediately after welding and cleaning to
prevent rusty
4.4.5. Install the hanger and support to focation and leveling the busduct
support using Magnetic Level meter.
4.4.6. Inspection of busduct hanger and support installation by CLIENT.
4.5, installation of Panel
The installation shall be carried in accordance to the approved
construction drawings of the panel layout. However, there shall be any
changes at site. It shall be verified and to be as built

4.5.7 Wrap the package using sling belt
4.58, Lifting the panel package using boom truck from warehouse into
boom truck / carrier
4.5.8. Transport carefully the panel from CLIENT warehouse to the nearest
location around substation according to approved panet
transportation route drawing.
4.5.10. Unioad the panel package using boom truck
4.5.11. Open the panel package. From this activities the CLIENT witness
should fully atfend for confirmation that there is no damaged occur
during transportation and installation.
4.5.12. Protect the front panel component with cotton rug and masking tape.
4.5.13. Open the Substation door and secure by holding with rope or door
holder. The door should be secure open to prevent bumping the
panel
4.5.14. The door to be protected by plastic or paper covered.
4.5.16. Installation of panel
a.installation by hand pallet (alternative-A)
i Prepare the hand pallet in front of the Substation
door.
ii, Wrap the pane! by sling belt, and lift to the nearest
position in front of Substation door, put on the hand
pallet.
ti Carefully push the panel into the location. Refer to
the
ilustration.
iv. Set the panel at channel base, remove the hand
pallet

b Installation by pipe roller (alternative-B)
i, Prepare the pipe roller in front of the Substation
door,

ii, Carefully push the panel into the location. During
transfer
place the pipe roller along the route by moving the left
behind pipe roller into the teading movement. Refer to
the illustration
iv, Set the panel at channel base, remove the pipe roller
carefully.
4.5.16. Open the Substation door and secure by holding with rope or door
holder. The door shauld be secure open to prevent bumping the
panel
45.17. Level the panel using Magnetic Level meter
4.5.18. Insert the shim plate to adjust the panel level if necessary
4.5.19. Inspection of panel installation by CLIENT.
4.5.20. Weld the panel base to the channel base.
4.6. Final inspection of panel installation
Shall be carried out with client inspector. It shall be recorded and sign off.
Buy as per attached format.
4.7. Busduct Installation
The installation shall be carried in accordance to the approved
construction drawings of the busduct installation details. However, there
shail be any changes at site. It shail be verified and to be as built

4.7.7. Transport carefully the busduct from CLIENT warehouse to the
nearest location around substation according to approved busduct
transportation route drawing,
4.7.8. Unload the busduct package using boom truck
4.7.9. Open the busduct package. From this activities the CLIENT
witness should fully attend for confirmation that there is no
damaged ocour during transportation and installation.

Installation of busduct shall begins with horizontal segments
and
continue until all segments installed completely.
Level the busduct by setting the nuts of hanger bolt and
connect
the busduct to each other connecting joint with bolt and

ix. Fix the installation with busduct clamp or bracket.
x. Tightening the bolt using torque wrench. The torque shall
follow recommended value of vendor specification
