1 General
At BT it was discovered that incorrect hydraulic hose has been
used in production. This means that the hydraulic hoses can burst
or connections can come loose with a risk that forks are falling and
load can drop. BT considers this a safety risk. Machines mounted
with incorrect hydraulic hoses have been stopped in production at
BT. The fault is identified to one shipment of ½" hoses. Other di-
mensions are correct.
Unfortunately a number of machines with the incorrect hydraulic
hose have been delivered from BT and reached sales companies/
distributors and even end customers. The delivery stop was intro-
duced at BT 2005-12-15. To limit the risk that machines with incor-
rect hydraulic hoses reach end customers BT Products Product
Safety Committee decided to introduce a delivery stop at Sales
companies and distributors. Affected machines according to above
and with delivery date from November 12th until December 15th
2005 within stated machine number interval. Machines delivered
from BT, already checked, have been marked with a green dot on
the machine plate.
The machine shall be checked by the sales company/distribution
before delivery to end customer and at end customer if the ma-
chine has reached its final destination. Marking of correct and in-
correct hydraulic hose see below.

cording to ordinary procedure.

4 Realization
4.1 Warranty
Yes. Maximum working time: 15 minutes for check of machine, if
an incorrect hydraulic hose is found 1 h for check and exchange to
a correct hydraulic hose.

4.2 Completion
Immediately at the sales company/distributors. Checked machine
with correct hydraulic hose can be delivered to end customer. Note
machine number and machine type for checked machines, and if
an incorrect hydraulic hose is found and exchanged also note the
article number.

4.3 Reporting
Reporting according to the warranty system under project number
52058.
Report machine numbers for checked machines, and number and
part numbers for found incorrect hoses by e-mail as soon as possi-
ble to:
