Main lesson aims:

 to recognize the form and usage of the future tense in English


 to develop their speaking skills
 to apply knowledge of the future tense to construct role-playing activities that require students to
use the future tense in realistic contexts

SKILLS: speaking, reading, listening, writing

Presentation
AIM To increase students’ interest in the topic

PROCEDURE The teacher writes the title of the lesson on the blackboard-“I am going to the
museum”. Students are asked if they can recognize the time used in the title.
Ss recognize present continuous form. They are asked to give other examples
and to deduce the form that present continuous has. T explains that present
continuous form can also be used to express future.

PROCEDURE The teacher explained how present continuous is used. Teacher writes on the

The teacher gives the students worksheets. Ss solve the exercise.
