Mixing CD tank solution from PPC or PPC

Express Cartridges
In case of urgent replacement of developer tank solution (e.g. due to contamination with BX), a tank solution can
be mixed from PPC chemical boxes and the appropriate starter, using the following procedure:

Paper colour developer (CD) tank solution from PPC 125 or PPC Express 125
The developer tank solution cannot be mixed directly from concentrate, but only from a previously mixed
intermediate solution and Paper CD Starter (5UBT5).

Mixing the intermediate solution (externally in a 5 litre container):

1. First water 4,1 litres

2. Open the CD-Bottle of one PPC125

Box or PPC Express 125 Box and add 920 ml concentrate
complete content

= made up intermediate solution 5 litres

On next page the necessary volume of the intermediate solution is shown per machine.
If more than 5 litres intermediate solution is necessary, mix more solution using more cartridges.

The rest of the intermediate solution must be discarded. Do not add it to the replenisher tank!

Mixing instructions
- Switch off the machine. Remove the racks out of the tank. Fill in the indicated amount of water in the empty tank.If possible use warm water (30-35°C).
- Add the indicated amounts of intermediate solution and Starter in the developer working tank.
- Insert the rack. Fill up with water, until the tank level is reached. Switch on the machine.
