Programming The Camera Guide Lines

This backup camera has the capability of displaying no guidelines, or any one of a selection of up to 9 different
sets of guide lines. Set the camera to GUIDELINE 1 using the programming sequence below.

For vehicles with Smart Key:

When you press the START button the first time, it will to go ACC mode. The second press will switch
the vehicle to ON mode. The 3rd press will shut it off.
1. Leave your foot OFF of the brake pedal through the programming procedure.
2. Double press the START button for the “ON” mode. After 3 seconds, press again to shut off.
3. At the 3 second mark the Toyota logo will appear on the radio display. As soon as this
appears you can shut the vehicle off.
4. Once off, wait 1 second, then repeat step 1-3 four (4) more times for a total of 5 ignition cycles.
5. Upon the 5th turn-on, leave the vehicle on and immediately shift the vehicle into reverse.
Please refer to the timing diagram below.

The screen should now display “Setting” and start to cycle through the different options for guide line. Once the
screen displays the setting for GUIDELINE 1 quickly shift the vehicle back into park and shut off the key. This will
store the last set of lines displayed on the screen and set that to default. Refer to the image below.
