Dear Angela,
I´m having a fantastic time in California. We are staying with the
Grover family. Their house is beautiful and there is a swimming pool in the
garden. At the moment I´m in the pool and drinking a milkshake. It is five
o´clock in the afternoon and it is very hot. My sister Karen is playing with
her son Cameron and the dog. Mr Grover is cooking hamburguers next to
the swimming pool. We are going to have a barbecue because it is Mrs
Grover’s birthday today.
Karen and I usually go to bed late. We are in the same bedroom so
we often talk or watch TV until one in the morning. There are sixty
channels on the TV here! I usually get up late and I have my breakfast next
to the pool. I sometimes have it in the pool!
The Grover family is really nice. Everyday we visit interesting places
like Big Bear Lake, monuments and parks. Cameron loves playing in the
park with the dog.
Tomorrow Mrs Grover is going to take us to the beach in her car.
Karen and I are going to learn to windsurf. Mr Grover is a windsurfing
instructor and he is going to teach us.

Hi! How are you? I’m on holiday in Hawaii with my friends and I
wanted to tell you all about it. We’re staying in a lovely little hotel by the
