Cyber Security Architect

Job location: Riyadh, KSA

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer science / Master’s degree and PhD is a plus.

Experience: Minimum 10 years in Cyber security, preferably with a security product vendor or Cyber
security focused System Integrator

Key Skills required: Cyber Security, Presentation skills, Cloud & Network Security

Preferred Cyber Security certifications: CISSP/CCSP/CISM/GIAC/SANS/AWS Security Specialty

Trend Micro Certifications: Trend Micro Certified Professional for

 Deep Security
 Apex One
 Deep Discovery Advanced Threat Detect
 Tipping Point
 Vision One

Job description:

Cyber Security Architect works closely with Account Managers in addressing and leading dialogues to
convert the customer’s cyber concerns and risk towards the proposal of new cyber security framework
includes Trend Micro solutions. The CSA will also help & influence the CXOs in estimating and spending
the Cyber security budgets and choosing the right solution to uplift the current security posture to the
zero-trust model. The candidate should have strong presales and post sales skills. Find the skill

1. Required Architectural responsibilities for the candidate

 Propose security framework to enhance the Security posture for the existing customer
by conducting a Security gap assessment.
 Enhances security team accomplishments and competencies by planning the delivery of
solutions and answering technical questions.
 Plans, research, and designs security architecture for IT infrastructure.
 Develop and review the Security Architecture with the CXO leader and obtain approval
for the deployment.
 Determines security protocols by evaluating the customer business strategies and
operational requirements.
 Identify the third-party system integration requirements and work with the in-house
professional services and / or outside system integrator partners to deliver integration
solutions to meet the needs of the customer
 Responds to, and investigates, security/threat incidents and provides thorough post-
event analyses.
 Develops project timelines for ongoing and new security system upgrades
 Conducts regular tests, monitor, and inform the top leadership about the GAP & the
necessity of adopting the best practices.
 Excellent documentation skills to prepare the post incident & GAP assessment reports
 Should have the capacity to engage in post-sales support issues and drive towards the
resolution of the issue
 Implementation experience of security solutions is Mandatory.

2. Required Presales responsibilities for the candidate

 Excellent presentation skills, with strong articulation capacity to demonstrate the


business value of Trend Micro Solutions
 Should have an exposure and experience in building cyber defense solutions to Big
Enterprises and have success stories for reference.
 Deliver Pre-sales activity across the Trend Micro product lines & differentiate the unique
value proposition against the competitive products.
 Should have the capacity to build the Trend micro product test cases for the successful
POC to win against the competitive solutions
 Should act as a consultant and Trusted advisor for the C-level executives in influencing
and helping in taking Cyber security related decisions.
 Should have good hands on-skills to conduct the complex POCs
 Should have the experience in converting the customer Business requirements towards
the Trend Micro solutions revenue
 Should have the ability to educate the customers about the importance of cyber security
resiliency and help in achieving the highest level by acquiring the right technology and
policies.
 Should have the experience in design and architect the end state Cyber Security
framework for Trend and Non-Trend Customers
 Manage the Executive Briefing Center and host the C-level audience from our strategic
customers by demonstrating the value of Trend solutions, with customer’s custom-built
scenarios.
 Should be capable to build slide deck that are not only product oriented, but also
addressing the customer’s cyber defense pain and effective way to solve. High grade of
professionalism should be demonstrated in building and delivering the deck
 Ability to speak to C-Suite level and manage to articulate Trend Micro Solutions against
competitors
 Should have the experience in building & responding to RFPs, attending pre-bid
meetings and influence the TDMs in selection criteria
 Be part of the Account Management team and act as an active catalyst in improving the
overall revenue for Trend Micro.
 Should have the experience and ability to drive build a solid and qualified Business
Pipeline.
 Should have a good understanding of the phases of Technology sales and be a catalyst in
fastening the closure of the deal.
 Be thoughtful and innovative in bringing ideas and execute in improving the cross sell &
upsell opportunities from Trend Micro customers.
 A deep understanding of Customer Segmentation and requirements such as:
Government, Oil & Gas, Healthcare, Utilities, Manufacturing, Defense …etc.
 Excellent documentation skills to prepare the executive level documentations and
whitepapers
 Should have a good understanding about the Global and local security compliances like
GDPR, HIPAA, NCA (CCC)…
 Should have good understanding about Mitre framework and to correlate with Trend
capacities
 Have a good understanding of 3rd party analyst reports from Gartner,forrester,IDC…
 Should have good understanding about the cloud technologies and security solutions
from Devops perspective
 Should be able to drive security conversations with the customers who is taking the
cloud migration journey and with Devops
 Should have good understanding of Cloud and Network Security
 Should have good understanding and knowledge in Trend Micro products.
 Scripting knowledge is an additional advantage
 Experience in TIP,SOAR,SOC is an added advantage.
