1. Raw material
Wood
Felling: This is the first operation to obtain wood, and its quality will depend on the
appearance and constitution of the tree, it consists of cutting the tree at its base. Then,
the branches located on the trunk of the felled tree are eliminated through the use of
tools such as saws. This is done to improve the quality of the wood.
Transport: This phase is carried out by removing the branches located on the trunk
of the tree by using tools such as saws. This is done to improve the quality of the
wood.
Debarking: The purpose of this process is to free the trunk of any substance or
object that could damage the wood, such as stones or bark. In addition, this process
serves to accelerate the drying of the wood and facilitate sawing.
Sawing: The trunk is divided into pieces of a certain length depending on the
product to be obtained and then sawn to achieve the desired shape.
Drying: To reduce the amount of humidity in the wood to be able to work it. The
wood loses more resistance the more humid it is.
Natural woods are those that are obtained directly from the trunks of trees.
In addition, they are pieces that can have a square or rectangular shape but
their size is always smaller than that of a tablet.
Boards: The boards are pieces of variable sizes that are extracted from the felled
trunk.
Dimensions
The tables have the following measurements:
Thickness: 1 to 6 cm.
Width: 16 to 50cm
Leaves: is a larger board, sometimes it is the union of 2 boards glued along the
edge, that is, their lateral end.
Dimensions
Thickness: between 7 and 12 cm.
Planks: The joining of several boards along the edge is called a board, therefore,
this piece is characterized by having a large flat surface.

PROCESOS QUE SE LLEVAN A CABO EN AGROINDUSTRIA DE LA MADERA.
1. Materia prima
Madera
Dimensiones
Ancho: 16 a 50cm
Dimensiones
Grosor: entre 7 y 12 cm.
Tablones o tableros:
