program. I have had the pleasure of being Yousra's design teacher–I teach students project
management and guide them each year to make their own projects–for the past three years and
have consistently been impressed by her exceptional talents, dedication, and leadership
qualities. Additionally, I must acknowledge her undying curiosity to learn about life, which made
her acquire a variety of hobbies and talents.

Yousra's passion for learning and positive impact shine through in everything she does. During
her personal project—a project that every student in 10th grade has to make—she
independently learned web development in just a couple of months to solve an important issue
in the Moroccan mental health sector by creating a remarkable mental health website called
Better. This website features numerous informative blogs for both parents and the general
population with a captivating interface. I was not the only one recognizing this website as one of
the best projects in our school. It also achieved a perfect score of 7/7 from the International
Baccalaureate Board, which has satisfied my expectations of her.
This accomplishment shows her work ethic and ability to grasp complex concepts quickly.

Additionally, I noticed that Yousra possesses a genuine desire to use technology to empower
others. This drive became evident in her creation of the school's first-ever IT club, where she
taught Python using effective methods such as project-based learning. Her initiative filled a
critical gap in our traditional curriculum that I, as a teacher for over 7 years, think lacks a lot of
essential things.

Within a year, Yousra came back to school after the summer break with an initiative on a much
larger scale. She transitioned to leading a student organization that empowers over 300
members by offering free services to teach coding and any technology-related subject. Her
dedication to impact others extends beyond her initiatives, as she actively participates in
volunteer activities and continuously enriches her medical knowledge because, according to her
own words, *I want to revolutionize medicine and the way doctors approach their careers. With
these words, I do not doubt that she will continue to make significant contributions in the fields
of technology and medicine and excel in your biomedical program.

exceptional technical expertise, ability to grasp complex subjects, strong leadership, and social
